While your website doesn’t literally “need” interactive video (in the same way it needs something like a Privacy Policy if collecting personal information), it can help generate more leads and sales.
Video content in general will help make your website more engaging and further build that know, like, and trust factor. However, one of the downsides of video is that you can convey only one message to one audience.
If you have more than one audience (in my case, people who don’t yet have a website and people who already have a website), then an interactive video can let you engage with the different audiences. With just one video, you would be able to speak to the needs of each audience.
